The Porsche Cayenne GTS is already one of the most commanding SUVs on the road — sports-tuned suspension, a high-revving V8, and a silhouette that means business. When the owner brought this one into our Doncaster studio, the brief was simple: make it even more of a statement. Here's how we approached the transformation.
The Brief
The owner wanted a complete colour change that would enhance the car's sporty, aggressive character. After discussing finish options from our extensive swatch book, we landed on the perfect choice — a deep, refined colour that would set the car apart without compromising its premium feel.
The Process
Surface Preparation
Before any vinyl goes near a vehicle, we carry out a full decontamination wash. Any surface imperfections, bonding wax, or residue have to be removed entirely. This is the foundation of a flawless wrap — it's not something you can rush.
Panel Work
The Cayenne GTS is a large, complex vehicle with pronounced curves, wide arches, and plenty of panel transitions. Each section was worked individually, with heat forming used around curves and edges to ensure complete adhesion without tension or lifting.
Door Shuts and Returns
A detail that separates a quality wrap from a cheap one: the door shuts and returns were fully wrapped to match. Open the door on this Cayenne and the transformation continues seamlessly — no tell-tale original colour peeking through.
The Result
The finished Porsche Cayenne GTS is a genuinely stunning vehicle. The new colour gives it a more focused, purposeful look — one that matches its performance credentials perfectly. Detailing was carried out on completion to ensure the car left our studio in immaculate condition.
