The Ford Ranger Raptor is a performance pickup truck built for extreme conditions. With its long-travel suspension, powerful engine, and aggressive body kit, it's one of the most capable vehicles available in the UK. When the owner wanted to protect and personalise theirs, they gave us the brief of a lifetime — and we delivered on every element.
Full Exterior PPF
The centrepiece of the build is a full exterior Paint Protection Film application. The Raptor's large body panels, prominent front bumper, and wide wheel arches all received a high-quality PPF installation. The film provides an invisible barrier against stone chips, scratches, insect damage, and general road debris — essential protection on a truck that will actually be used off-road.
Carbon PPF — Roof and Wing Mirrors
The roof and wing mirror housings were treated to a carbon fibre-effect PPF. This textured film provides all the protective benefits of standard PPF while adding a premium visual detail that contrasts well with the truck's body colour.
Raptor Bonnet Styling — Custom Paint
The Raptor's bonnet features a distinctive power dome styling that references its performance heritage. We carried out a bespoke spray paint finish on the bonnet styling to enhance this feature — a detail that elevates the whole front-end appearance.
Satin Black Wheel Wrap
The factory alloy wheels were wrapped in satin black vinyl — a cost-effective and fully reversible alternative to powder coating that gives the truck a more aggressive, blacked-out specification.
Custom Ski Rack — Fabricated and Installed
Perhaps the most unique element of this build: a bespoke ski rack, designed and fabricated entirely by our team, and installed directly to the truck's roof. The rack was engineered to complement the Raptor's proportions and carry equipment securely. It's a one-of-a-kind addition that no other Raptor in the country has.
The Finished Raptor
This Ford Ranger Raptor is genuinely one of the most well-specified pickup trucks we've seen come through our doors. Every element works together to create something that's both purposeful and visually commanding. If you have an ambitious build in mind, talk to the team at Wrap Nova.
